Weather and Climate in Nepal is totally different the some where else due Himalayan country of the world. It has got a three different levels of geographical landscape as lowland region, hilly region and the Himalayan region. There are climatic variations in each region. Lowlands are pretty warm, hilly regions are moderate and Himalayan regions are cold. The weather changes frequently in the mountain regions, even several times a day. It may not be the same weather as forecasted. Here are the weather and climatic variations in Nepal:
Autumn
Autumn is the main trekking season in Nepal. During this season, the weather is crystal clear from morning to evening. So, all the Himalayan views are breathtaking. The days are pretty warm and the nights get cold on the mountain range. But, the trails are always busy with foreigners in major trekking areas.
Winter
Winter is the quiet, low season for the trekking because the weather will be cold in the Himalayas. There will be heavy snow fall. However, easy and short trekking can be done at this time. Days are short and chilling. The Place of low altitude and cultural visits are popular for winter. If you still love extra adventure, you may select trekking in the Annapurna and Langtang Everest regions. Another good thing is less crowded people at lodge and trails.
Spring
Spring is very much suitable season for Nepal travelling. It is the time when trees, meadows and forests begin to be green everywhere. It can be raining occasionally around the evening and during the day. It is the big season of blooming flowers in the whole forest, including Rhododendron and bush flowers. April is also a good time for the high passes trekking and climbing peaks. So, Spring is the best choice for trekkers and climbers after autumn due to the fine weather.
The monsoon
The monsoon of Nepal is determined by the Bay of Bengal in India. In the past, monsoon season used to take as off season due to the muddy trails and frequently falling landslides. Now, the climate change has made the trekking possible, even in the monsoon. The season is suitable to trek in the Himalayan rain shadow area. Monsoon is a nice season to explore the forbidden kingdom of Upper Mustang, sacred pilgrimage destination Muktinath, Jomsom and some of the other trails of Annapurna region. These places are rich in natural and cultural heritages. Dolpo and Tibet are other options to explore during Monsoon.

It started of being quite hard walking, but as the pays passed, it got easier and with lots of jokes and good company, it was a sensational trek, with plenty of tuborge beer, and heaps of surya smokes. The views were breath taking and the food was out of this world, I paged out big time with "Dal bhat" Nepali traditional meals. I was a bit lost in Nepal, but the mountains in Pokhara made me feel at…

I was fortunate to have Dambar act as guide for my wife and myself for our tour of Nepal. My son, who had used Dambar's guiding services the previous year, has recommended him. We wanted to see Nepal's beautiful scenery and to enjoy some walking but we also wanted to see the country's wildlife and historical sites. We asked Dambar to help us over two week period during which we enjoyed seeing the cultural and historic sites (Kathmandu, Patan, Bhaktapur, Boudhanath etc), the beautiful Annapurna region (Pokhara and Sarangkot) and the wildlife of the Chitwan game reserve. Throughout the two…

We were used Dambar's services as a guide on three occasions over the last 12 years to the Annapurna and Everest regions and most recently to Upper Mustang. I would be happy to recommend him to others looking for a reliable, well organized and conscientious arranger and guide for their trek in Nepal. He gives good advice on itineraries and can plan and reserve internal flights and hotels in advance as required. He also has good knowledge of the formalities (trekking permits, insurance) that you need and has arranged these without any problems at all. On the trek, he has…

"I travelled to Nepal in October 2010 and my friend and I hired Dambar to provide a guide and porter for us on the Everest base camp trek. We were in communication before we arrived in Nepal and everything was arranged for us at a reasonable price. Our package included flights, accommodation, food, guide and porter as well as passes and some equipment like trekking poles, sleeping bags and down jackets. The whole experience was amazing; we were able to go at our own pace and were confident at all times with our guide and porter. The guide gave us…

We came to know Dambar through a friend of ours who used him as a guide on a hike in the Annapurna Circuit about five years ago. Our friend had nothing but good things to say about Dambar's experience, professionalism and friendly personality. As it was our first time hiking in Nepal, we were happy to receive the recommendation. Prior to our travel to Nepal, we exchanged numerous emails with Dambar, making plans for our hike. Dambar provided excellent advice and answered all of our questions in a thorough and timely manner. When we had to change our hiking route…
