Everest Region trekking information.

The Everest region, which is also referred to as the Khumbu region, is well known and the top choice for trekkers due to its beautiful trekking destination. The Everest region is known for the world’s highest Mountain (Mount Everest). Besides Mount Everest, the Everest region is blessed with other mountains, including Mount Makalu, Ama Dablam, Cho Oyu, Nuptse Lhotse, and Imja Tse Island Peak.

However, Every trekking starts from Lukla airport and splits from Namche Bazaar.

To reach the Everest region, one of the most common means is taking a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla or an option available in the peak season(Spring and Autumn) to drive from Kathmandu to Ramechhap either by bus or car and then take a flight to Lukla airport from there. Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Thame, Pengboche, and Dingboche are the major attractive villages of the Everest region, where you’ll be provided warm hospitality.

The Annapurna region has several trekking routes, including Annapurna Base Camp, Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek, Nar Phu valley trek, Mardi Himal Trek, Mesokanta Trek, Upper Mustang, Annapurna Circuit, Jomsom and Muktinath Trek.

The Annapurna region journey generally begins through the pleasing city of Pokhara, where you could get to either by plane or bus. If you wish to travel by flight, you’ll be in Pokhara within 25 minutes, and if you are willing to go by bus, it will take 7-8 hours. The starting point of the Annapurna region is Pokhara, and the upcoming destination depends upon where you are proceeding.

Langtang Region treking information

Located 80km from Kathmandu on the north, Langtang region provides several trekking routes that can be reached by bus and without flight. The Langtang region is less popular but becoming famous in today’s time. It provides numerous easily accessible and worthy trekking routes, including the Langtang Valley Trek, Tamang Heritage Trek, Gosainkunda, Ganja-La Pass, and Helambu trekking trail.

The Considerable places in the Langtang region are Langtang Valley, Hemanbu, Gosaikunda, Tamanag Heritage, and Panch Pokhari. The Langtang region is an excellent mix of natural richness, cultural richness, kindness of the local people, and adventurous activities. The Langtang region provides you with a chance to learn about the actual Tibetan and Tamang cultures, as most of the people there are Tamang.

Trekking Information of Manaslu Region

The term “Manaslu” means Mountain in the Sanskrit word of Nepali. The Manaslu region is a remote area of Nepal that is less known to most trekkers. The Manaslu region provides two trekking routes: one is Manaslu trekking, and the other is Manaslu Tsum Valley. Both trekking courses provide the untouched beauty of nature and offer extraordinary trekking experiences.

In the Manaslu region, Gurung people are very kind and hospitable and have their own culture, language, tradition, and way of life. In the Manaslu region, trekkers find tea houses for the accommodations, which are simple and provide insight into the local way of living.

Without a doubt, the Langtang region has an untouched natural beauty of the area. Still, besides its natural beauty, the Langtang region is known for its ancient monasteries and chortens, where visitors can take part in activities done there and get extreme peace of mind.

Manaslu region is an adventurous trekking route due to its remote location and untravelled trail. The Manaslu region has a lot for trekking and climbing, but fitness level is most important, and acclimatization during the trek is necessary.

Dolpo Region

There are two different Dolpo regions. One is Upper and the other is Lower Dolpo.

Upper Dopo

Doplo region is a remote region of Nepal with incredible natural beauty and ancient traditions. There are two different Dolpa trekking areas. Dolpo region is popular nowadays for trekking routes, and the major trekking routes include the Upper Dopo Trek and Lower Doplo Trek in a restricted region. Upper Dolpo Trek, located in the middle of the Tibetan plateau and Mount Dhaulagiri, is a challenging trek.

The Upper Dolpo trek starts from a flight to Nepaljung to Juphal and a tour to Shyanta and reaches the highest elevation at 511om. The upper Dolpo Trek passes through the amazing Phoksundo Lake, a blue lake, and Nangdalo-La is the highest point.

Lower Dolpo

The Lower Dolpo Trek is as unique as the Upper Doplo Trek and as challenging as the Upper Dolpo Trek. The lower Dolpo Trek lies in a restricted region, so you can’t trek here solo and need a special restricted permit. The spectacle of Mount Dhaulagiri and Phoksundo Lake is the major highlight of the trek.

The best season to Explore the Dolpo region is during the peak season, which is regarded as Spring and Autumn. During these seasons, you’ll have fewer difficulties. Suppose you plan to trek in the Dolpo region during Winter and Summer. In that case, generally, it is not recommended as the trails are not good, and during winter, all the trekking paths will be full of snow. And during summer, the monsoon makes the track slippery and risky.

A- How long do we walk every day?

=Depending on your walking/hiking speed, normally between four to six hours daily, including lunch and a short break.

B- How are hiking trails?

=The trail leading you through the forest up to 4200 meters is easy to breathe. From over 4200 Miters will not any forest. According to the itinerary, Days 2, 4, and 6 are a bit climbing (challenging), but the rest are gradual / genteelly up and slide down. Sometimes, there will be snow from day 4. (Tyangbouche)

C-Drinking water available?

=Yes, mineral and boiled water are available at every teahouse/ guest house along the trekking trail. You can take chlorine, filter, and iodine with you. Our guide will help you to get water for the filer.

D- Where do we eat meals?

=Breakfast and Dinner at the same hotel where you are staying at night, But Lunch will be on the way. There will be continental meals. Local food made with potatoes, Pasta, and Noodles is available.

E- How much money shall we bring with us?

=Boundless Adventure covers daily board packages from Kathmandu to Everest base camp and back to Kathmandu. (Accommodation, Lunch, Dinner, Breakfast with tea)

You can have a small amount of money for your bottle of drink water, Denotation, and Tips, and if you would like to buy some souvenirs and cola, US$ 20/- per day/person is logical.

F-Does ATM and Visa cards accepted for trekking?

ATM-  people withdraw by ATM at Lukla Airport, which is the Starting point of  Everest Base Camp Trekking (Sagarmatha National Park)  and Namche Bazaar, even though they get some amount of money every time. However, the rest of the area cannot get ATMs because the rest of the area has no bank.

Master and visa cards-  Master and visa cards are acceptable at Lukla, Namche Bazaar,  Tyangbuche, Dingbouche, Lobuche, and Goreshkep. However, some of the areas have poor exchange rates and huge taxes. People can use them for emergency cases only.
