4. Jomsom Muktinath Trekking

The short trek to Jomsom Muktinath can be done in 5 to 8 days and starts from Pokhara. Jomsom Muktinath Trekking is also known as Jomson trekking and is also popular with the name Dzong Sampa and Hindus Pilgrimage at (Muktinath / Muktidham) Temple. The Jomsom is located at an altitude of 2700 meters; it is one of the wonderful trekking areas in the Annapurna and Mustang region. You can fly from Pokhara to Jomsom early morning only because of the strong winds blowing through two different mountains (Dhaulagiri and Annapurna I) Similarly, Continue trekking to Kagbeni. Kagbeni is an entrance point of Upper Mustang trekking and it is a nearby bank of Kaligandaki River even though it is a small village.

 You can stay one overnight at the Tatopani village for a hot bath at the hot spring pool. Here are two different Hot Pools, one 32°C and the other one is 52°C. Some time people mixed cold water into the hot Pool.

5. Ghandruk Trekking (Family trekking)

Most of the trekkers completed the Ghandruk trekking within 3 days and start from Kathmandu or Pokhara. Situated at an altitude of 2012m above sea level, the trek is one of the most popular destinations and easiest trails in Annapurna conservation, offering spectacular views of the beautiful clouds kissing the mountain tops and lush valley dotted with small hamlets. It goes through the route of the majority of Gurung ethnic settlements.

Trekking to Ghandruk is a great option for those who have limited time and budget.
