Everest base camp trekking is classic trekking trails in Nepal. Everest base camp trail is most popular trekking destinations in the world. Because, one hand is Base camp of Everest. Everest base camp region is located in the northeast of the country in Solukhumbu district, the home of legendry and friendly Sherpa ethnic groups, who have earned their name and fame in the tourism sector.
Trekking in Everest base camp is a massive introductory teahouse trekking Nepal offers marvelous mountain, walk to base camp requires about six hour round trip possibly more unless an expedition in progress has kept the ever-changing trip in good condition .The rout follows the Khumbu glacier sometimes on the moraine and sometimes on the glacier itself. The walking in EBC is especially interesting for the views of the 15-meter high sera’s of ice, a feature peculiar to Himalayan glaciers. The trip to Everest base camp is not actually a specific site; various expeditions have selected different locations for a semi-permanent camp during their assault on the mountain. Some of the base campsite is identify by remains on the glacier at 5360 meter. The trip in base camp, while interesting is not as spectacular as the KalaPattar because, there is no view of Everest from base camp at all. It is difficult to go to base camp and Kala Patter trip in a single day , if you wish to do both , you should use the afternoon of the day at base camp for one trip and the next morning trip to Kalapather.
Kalapather trekking is best viewpoint of the Everest base camp. View from Everest base camp is only you and bottom of Everest, but from Kalapathar is expectular views including Sunrise on Everest. Every Morning is usually sparkling clear and the climb rewarding parts of the trip. It is a steep ascent up the grassy and stone slopes west of Gorak Shep to a shelf at the foot of Pumori.
