This trekking is designed to take you on trails where legends once tread; a dream that many wish to accomplish on a highly famous route to the foothills of the world's highest mountain. Your holidays are planned in ways that give you enough time to get used to the different elevations you hike through so that you acclimatize in ways where your body is protected from the elements. Experience has taught us to operate your trips in ways where you are not rushed but where you get to hike in the wild at your own relaxed pace because we know that hiking beyond your abilities at such high altitudes can be detrimental to your health and ruin your vacation. The trip to Everest base camp is not actually a specific site; various expeditions have selected different locations for a semi-permanent camp during their attempt on the mountain. We want that you enjoy the holidays of a lifetime. Walk the trails at your pace so you can enjoy the surrounding beauty that envelops you while helping your body cope with the fluctuating altitude levels you hike through. A slow ascent through wonderful Sherpa villages allows us time to enjoy the scenery, wildlife and visit the quiet peace of monasteries we come across on the way. Our program concludes with a great chance to trek to both Everest Base Camp and the nearby peak of Kala Pattar (5545m) for spectacular views of Mount Everest; and furthermore, we get to interact with the local folks in this region to get upfront experiences on their culture including lifestyles in some of the harshest regions on this planet.
